Chances are you don’t have a Car First Aid Kit? Come on let’s be honest here – your car trunk is a mess! Yes mine is too … and once in a while we will sort through all the mess and throw stuff out that has just accumulated over time .. old sports gear, bits and bobs which are no use to anyone or things that we meant to have dropped off somewhere .. well here’s a great opportunity to remind your self of what is really more important.
Yes you may well check that you have some oil or spare water when your car ‘may’ break down .. but in reality that isn’t that often unless like me many years ago I was constantly driving round in a bomb! But for the average person your car doesn’t break down every day.
In fact whether you realize or not you are just as likely to encounter a first aid situation when you are out on the road than a flat tyre, sad but true. So why not really take responsibility and ensure you have a car first aid kit in the back of the car .. done and dusted .. it’s there for ever and you won’t have the conscience to deal with.
Wouldn’t it be best to be prepared at ALL times rather than plying Russian roulette when taking the family on holiday or away for the weekend? The great thing about a car first aid kit is that they can be generally of a compact size that they will easily fit into that back pocket in the trunk .. the same way you keep your tire lever or spare spark plugs.
I always have mine in the car and it’s the best thing I did as I never have to do it again .. it will always be there for any situation that I encounter. It’s not a kit that I take in and out of the car as that is an easy mistake to make and one I could regret come the worse case scenario.
I love to go camping as often as I get the chance or the odd day trip with the kids … picnics BBQ’s or the park .. and so this one simple step that I took a number of years ago can now deal with any situation that we find ourselves in, be it a cut or a minor injury.
The Survival First Aid Kit has really been my savior in this regard. It’s so compact, neat and portable .. I can grab it an instant .. bets of all the internal pockets are a god send when I quickly need to use it … everything is so accessible and obvious. Bets of all when I have used something it is glaringly obvious that it need replacing.
Please take my advice .. more so for your family’s peace of mind and protection. Who knows you might even have to help a stranger while you are out.. I have had to do this a couple of times when camping and it made me feel so good to be able to offer assistance .. I don’t like to gloat but the humble satisfaction made it so worthwhile. I urge you to prick your conscience and have a look at the Survival First Aid kit and see why it has made such a difference to my family. Hey it has probably put up the value of our car !
